Remember a couple of weeks back, when my phone and printer broke, and I wondered in the title of my blog post if the utilities meter was the next thing to go? Well, as it turns out, the utilities meter was next. It stopped running for a while last week. But there was nothing wrong with the meter. In fact, it gets even better.

We lost power to the entire apartment.

3 separate power failures in 3 consecutive days. Nothing in the fusebox tripped - the power grid simply kicked us out for some reason. And it affected everybody living in the 6 floors around my apartment, my floor included.

Makes you wonder if the campus buses would break down if I put something like that as the title of this post…
